What kind of plant are you? GASA GROUP's green world is inhabited by many different species – we are a green space full of variety, where we pull together with our own contributions towards making the end result still more colourful. This means too that we have lots of different job functions. My work assignments are many and varied, which means that my job functions on a normal day are both alternating and challenging.
I am working in the wholesale department in the French section, but at GASA we are good at cooperating across the organisation. I spend a lot of my time being in contact with other people; customers, suppliers, transporters, warehouse personnel and colleagues.
On a daily basis I speak with customers and suppliers, send offers and receive orders. We work with both here-and-now-solutions and with long-term planning. During the year I go on a sales tour a couple of times to visit existing and potential customers. On top of this, I usually participate in fairs outside Denmark.
The plant business is by nature quite seasonal, and this is seen in the continuous change in assortment. At times things can be hectic, but it is never boring…..
