Kalahari Survivor is the name of an exotic plant discovered on an expedition to Madagascar. In nature, Kalahari Survivor can grow to be five-six meters tall. It is a decorative climbing plant with strong, narrow leaves that are shiny dark green in colour. With time, the plant can grow greyish red flowers in the form of hanging bells. Opuntia humifusa Cactuses are cool in a hot way. Normally sun and heat are what come to mind when we think of cactuses. But the Opuntia Humifusa cactus can actually withstand temperatures of minus 23º C and freezing weather for longer periods of time. Plant them outdoors in well-drained pots or elevated beds - preferably in the warmer parts of the garden. Use it alone or together with other succulents.
