Amazing Azalea
During the winter months, nothing quite beats the colourful splendour of the Azalea. And several weeks later when the flowering has ceased, it is still possible to enjoy the plant’s shiny leaves.
Azalea comes in a host of colours – both one-colour and two-colour varieties: usually in reddish and purple shades. Azalea is available with large and small flowers, some simple, others more or less filled. It comes in many sizes, from minis in 6 cm pots to large bushes and pyramids in 15 cm pots.

Gartneriet 7’eren, a Danish nursery, has teamed up with GASA GROUP to develop/produce an interesting four-colour Azalea exclusively for GASA GROUP. The pot contains four root cuttings in different colours.
Nursery owner Søren Jensen from Gartneriet 7’eren shares his thoughts on the process: “It was inspiring to spar with GASA about the development of a new, exciting Azalea product. We tested a great many Azalea cuttings for the new Multicolour Azalea. We wanted to strike a balance between cuttings that bloom simultaneously and giving the plant a unique harmonious look.”
